Shipping & Returns

We prefer to keep things simple, transparent, and completely free of corporate jargon. Here is what you can expect when ordering from us, and what to do if you need to reverse the process.

1. DISPATCH & SHIPPING

We don’t do "rushed," but we do respect your need for immediate relief.

  • Processing Time: Once your order is placed, our lab requires 1–2 business days to securely pack your candles.
  • Domestic Shipping (Hungary): After dispatch, delivery typically takes 1–2 business days (via Foxpost / MPL).
  • International Shipping (EU): currently we only ship to Hungary, but we are working on extend our radius beyond the borders.
  • Tracking: As soon as your order leaves the lab, you will receive a tracking number so you can obsessively monitor its arrival instead of checking your inbox.

2. RETURNS

We get it. You ordered Overthinking Absolutely Everything and then overthought the purchase. By EU law, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind.

However, we have strict contamination rules:

  • The candle must be unlit and completely unused. If you have burned even a millimeter of that wooden wick, the sensory intervention has officially begun, and we cannot accept the return.
  • Original Packaging: It must be returned in its original, undamaged condition.
  • Return Shipping: The cost of the return shipping is your responsibility. (Consider it a small tax for changing your mind).

To initiate a return, send an email to return@pourpour.hu with your order number. We will send you the return address and instructions.

3. DAMAGED GOODS

Sometimes the real world is harsh, and glass breaks during transit. If your package arrives looking like your mental state after a 4-hour Friday afternoon meeting, here is what you do:

  1. Do not light it.
  2. Take a clear photo of the damaged candle and the shipping box.
  3. Email the photographic evidence to return@pourpour.hu within 48 hours of delivery.
  4. We will immediately send a replacement or issue a full refund—your choice. No complicated paperwork required.

4. REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected by us, we will notify you of the approval. The refund will be automatically applied to your original method of payment. Please allow a few business days for your bank to process it—they are usually slower than we are.
