How it works:

To secure a spot, we recommend making a reservation in advance (you can do so up to 2 hour before the workshop, so if you see a free spot, book it and we will welcome you).

At PØURPØUR, we host all types of gatherings - from intimate birthdays and bachelorette parties to engaging corporate team-building events.

Private Events (6–10 guests): Reserve 6 to 10 seats to book the entire studio exclusively for your group.

Your experience starts exactly at the time you’ve booked – neither earlier nor later.‬ However we strongly advise to arrive 10 minutes earlier so that we can properly welcome you and get you comfortable.

This means that if you’ve booked for 14:00, your session will start at 14:00 – even if‬ ‭ you are delayed.‬

Once you’ve booked a spot, you have it for a full hour and a half. The experience itself lasts about a bit more than an hour, but we’ve allocated an hour and a half so you can take your time to choose fragrances,‬ ‭ pour your candle, and enjoy the process at your own pace.‬ ‭

While our studio is primarily designed as a sanctuary for adults escaping the 9-to-5, younger creators are welcome. However, guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Working with hot wax requires focus and precision, so following our safety guidelines is essential to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone.

Your well-being is our highest priority. While our fragrance oils are uncompromised and of the highest quality, they are highly concentrated. Because of this, we strongly advise against expecting mothers handling the raw fragrance oils directly.

You are still more than welcome to join the session, soak in the calming atmosphere, and select your favorite notes—our team will happily act as your hands and handle the blending and pouring process for you.

Crafting a fragrance profile is a highly individual journey, so we require each guest to create their own candle. This ensures everyone gets a dedicated seat, the full hands-on experience, and their own tailored sanctuary to take home

As much as we appreciate upcycling, we cannot fill outside vessels. Our signature glass containers are rigorously tested to ensure flawless heat distribution, optimal burn time, and strict fire safety. To guarantee the authentic PØURPØUR experience and keep the studio safe, we only pour into our approved, perfectly calibrated glassware.

We recommend blending a maximum of 4 scents to create a clear and harmonious‬ ‭ fragrance profile. This helps prevent the aromas from "clashing" and creating a muddled or‬ ‭ chaotic scent.‬

No. We prepare the wax for you. Your part is the fun bit: choosing and blending your fragrance, then pouring it into your candle.

To protect the integrity of the olfactory experience, we do not serve meals in the atelier—nothing should compete with your fragrance notes. However, a small, complimentary bite and a welcome mocktail is included in your session to keep your energy up. We also offer a curated menu of premium beverages available for purchase to perfectly complement your downtime.

Absolutely. Since you are the architect of your own scent, you’ll have the opportunity to log your exact formula during your session. Keep your bespoke recipe safe, and whenever you run out of your personal survival kit, you can easily reorder your exact blend from us.

The art of candle making cannot be rushed, the wax needs about 2-3 hours to set properly and flawlessly.

• Daytime Sessions (10:00 - 16:00): Your candle will typically be ready for pickup in about 3 hours.
• Evening Sessions (After 16:00): Leave your creation to rest overnight in the atelier and pick it up the following day.

Note: We safely store uncollected candles for up to 14 days. If not picked up by then, they will be elegantly donated to someone who could use a little extra light.

Once your wax has flawlessly set and is ready for pickup, we seal it with a minimalist wooden lid to preserve the fragrance notes. For an even more secure transit—or if you are gifting your creation—you can also opt for our elegant, travel-safe packaging before stepping back out into the city.

We can also ship your candle to any Hungarian address or Foxpost location for a small additional fee.

To maintain the pristine sensory environment of the atelier—and for their own well-being—we kindly ask that you leave your pets at home. Our workstations involve hot wax and pure fragrance profiles that can be overwhelming for sensitive animal noses. We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep the space a calm, safe, and allergy-free sanctuary for everyone.

Our studio is tucked away in a pedestrian-only zone at Régi posta utca 19. To keep your arrival as seamless and stress-free as the session itself, we highly recommend arriving by public transport or taking a taxi. If you prefer to drive, you can leave your car at the nearby Budapest Car Park Váci, which is just a short, relaxing stroll away from our doors.

We understand that schedules can unexpectedly shift. If you need to adjust your offline time, you can easily cancel or reschedule your session, provided you give us a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Please note that we allow a maximum of one reschedule per booking. Because of the intimate size of our space and the preparation required for each seat, we unfortunately cannot accommodate changes, offer reschedules, or issue refunds with less than 24 hours' notice.
